Electrical and electronics engineering is the study and application of diverse technologies for electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. Electrical and electronics engineering plays an extremely important role in the operation of technical and technological systems. The instability or interruption of electricity supply will seriously affect business and social activities. The continuous development of  modern industry requires increasing demand for human resources in the area of electrical and electronics. The training program at EIU provides students with basic to advanced knowledge in electricity and electronics. The program also serves as an environment for research and access to advanced technologies in electricity and electronics. Therefore, electrical and electronics engineering students at EIU will have practical knowledge, skills and experience to enter a professional working environment.

100% of students will achieve at least IELTS band 6.0 before graduation.

Students will study in a modern environment, with a system of modern practice rooms that meet the requirements for study and research. Furthermore, practice hours account for more than 40%.

Students will have many opportunities to work with faculty members on Capstone projects, do academic research, and participate in national and international conferences.

Students are facilitated to study and practice at leading domestic and international companies starting from the third year.

Electrical and electronics engineering graduates will have sufficient skills and knowledge to work as a specialist, consultant engineer in the design, operation, and maintenance of electrical networks in businesses, companies, houses, electrical machines, buildings, offices, etc. In addition, students will be capable of designing and constructing electric drive systems used in electric vehicles, production lines, elevators, designing power supply, lighting, air conditioning for factories, agencies and civil households. Students with outstanding ability can also manage engineering projects in electricity – electronics.

Graduates from electrical and electronics engineering programs can continue their postgraduate studies in Vietnam or abroad. Starting their own business is also a promising direction for the graduates.
